Offered at no reserve Belonging to a brand that needs no introduction, like is Omega, I will jump into the specifics of this particular example It dates from the early 30’s according to the search I did on the serial number. The little “M” you see on the movement (stands for “metal” in french) indicates the case is in steel. It also points its future distribution to the french market Both the lettering on the dial and case-back are in french so all is consistent and original in this watch The enamel dial is in very good condition. I wasn’t able to detect any fractures or chips. The Arabic numbers are beautiful as well as the thermally prepared hands (the hour has has a different style as the minute hand) The stainless steel case has 30x31 mm without crown. Looks in good condition specially taking into account this watch’s age. I have a soft spot for this cushion shaped cases. They add class on a already very classy watch and they have a really good wrist presence The movement hasn’t surely been cleaned in a while (I know I never serviced it). Its time keeping it’s not… great… in its worst days loses almost 5 minutes a day so it definitely needs a service if you’re planning wearing it daily. It is being sold as is - not serviced This case as wired (fixed) lugs. The strap included in the sale is not new but ready to wear The crown that equips this watch might well be original as I saw other examples online with the same one. Le petit « M » que vous voyez sur le mouvement indique que le boîtier est en acier. Il pointe également sa future distribution sur le marché français L’écriture sur le cadran et le fond du boîtier sont en français donc tout est cohérent et original dans cette montre Le cadran émaillé est en très bon état. Je n’ai pu détecter aucune fracture ni éclat. Les chiffres arabes sont magnifiques ainsi que les aiguilles bleus préparées thermiquement (l'aiguille des heures a un style différent de celui des minutes) Le boîtier en acier inoxydable fait 30x31 mm sans remontoir. Semble être en bon état, surtout compte tenu de l’âge de cette montre. J'ai un faible pour ces boitiers en forme de coussin. Ils ajoutent de la classe à une montre déjà très classe et ils ont une très bonne présence au poignet. Le mouvement n’a sûrement pas été nettoyé depuis un moment (je sais que je ne l’ai jamais entretenu). Son temps de conservation n'est pas… génial… dans ses pires jours, il perd près de 5 minutes par jour, il a donc certainement besoin d'un service si vous prévoyez de le porter quotidiennement. Il est vendu tel quel - sans entretien Ce boîtier a des anses fixes. Le bracelet inclus dans la vente n'est pas neuf mais prêt à porter La couronne qui équipe cette montre pourrait bien être celle d’origine puisque j'ai vu d'autres exemplaires en ligne avec la même. Diese Omega Art Deco Tankuhr (Tonneau) stammt aus den 1930er Jahren und verfügt über ein mechanisches Handaufzugswerk legendäres Cal. T17. Das goldfarbene Zifferblatt mit arabischen Ziffern und die quadratische Stahlgehäusegröße von 23 mm machen sie zu einem stilvollen und eleganten Accessoire. Die Uhr ist in einem gebrauchten Vintage-Zustand, läuft gut an Unding einer Gangreserve von ca. 50-51 Stunden durch, was typisch für das Caliber T17 von Omega ist.
