1969 Omega Seamaster Jumbo Date SPARKLE Cal.563 166.028/168.022 Automatic. Up for sale is a gorgeous 1969 Seamaster jumbo with the hailed sparkle dial and extremely rare black handset.This version is incredibly hard to find, especially in good shape. Upon opening the case, I was happy to see a very clean Cal. 563 movement that dates the watch to 1963. The caseback shows that this is a dual referenced 166.028/168.022 case, denoting both the non-chronometer and chronometer variants. It is being sold to you on a new leather strap ready for wear (the mesh bracelet in the last few photos is not included, but I may have one available for an extra cost). Please note that while this watch is in great shape, it is a used piece from 1969, so it does exhibit wear common for its age. It currently keeps time well at about +/-15 seconds, but the service history is unknown and it may require a service down the road or adjustment by a watchmaker.
