I will begin the description wishing you all an happy 2024. To me, one of my new year (horological) resolutions was to slim down my collection even further so this week I will put up for sale a few watches that I have for a long time and that I was not planning on selling It really hurts to see them leave but I’m focusing my collection on more modern pieces. Despite that fact I really nourish and love a lot of the vintage watches I still have. That’s why that more important than the amount this auction might fetch is the hope that their new owners appreciate them as much as I do. Fingers crossed… All those watches are offered without reserve and this particular one is no exception The reference of this watch is 44554-6. Both the reference on the case and the serial on the movement match the ones on the papers :) It dates from 1968. It was delivered to England which was exactly where I bought it years ago when I was doing my post-graduation The dial is the “star of the show”! It is impossible to photograph it in its full splendour and whoever gets it will definitely be happily surprised seeing that is much better in the steel when compared with the photos. The petrol green hue is astonishing! It has only very little flaws (hairline scratches caused by the disaggregation of the lumen material, I guess) The lumen material is tritium and it aged really well The case is in stainless steel and has 36,2mm without crown. It has a few minor scratches (the deeper ones are on the case-back and visible in the photos). It hasn’t been heavily polished which is great news The movement is a caliber 784-2. I remember buying this watch and just putting it aside so I never serviced it and I don’t know its service history either :/ it is working well however. It runs between -6 and +22 seconds a day. Shows a good amplitude. I’m sure a service will make it ready for daily wear (the watch is being sold not serviced-as is) I need to mention that the original bezel is worn in some areas and that I can’t rotate it. I reckon a cleaning should solve that problem. By the way, you can see that this one is quite dirty. But it just it… dirt The date changes at 12 o’clock as supposed The crown is signed and it is the original to the watch The NATO strap is brand new (unsigned) and ready to be used This is a reference that is not very rare however… finding it with this dial and as a full set is a completely different story. I’ve had several of these over the years and this one was the only one that I kept for the reasons mentioned above. Malgré cela, je nourris et j’aime vraiment beaucoup de montres vintage que j’ai encore. C’est pourquoi l’espoir que leurs nouveaux propriétaires les apprécieront autant que moi est plus important que le montant que cette vente aux enchères pourrait rapporter. Doigts croisés… Toutes ces montres sont mises en vente sans prix de réserve et celle-ci ne fait pas exception La référence de cette montre est 44554-6. La référence sur le boîtier et le numéro de série sur le mouvement correspondent à ceux sur les papiers :) Elle date de 1968. Elle a été livré en Angleterre et c'est exactement là bas que je l'ai achetée il y a des années lorsque je faisais mes études Le cadran est la « star de la montre » ! Il est impossible de le photographier dans toute sa splendeur et celui qui l'obtiendra sera certainement agréablement surpris de voir que « en vrai » il est bien meilleur que sur les photos. La teinte vert pétrole est étonnante ! Il n'a que très peu de défauts (rayures infimes causées par la désagrégation du matériau de la lumière, je suppose) Le matériau de la lumière est du tritium et il a très bien vieilli Le boîtier est en acier inoxydable et fait 36,2 mm sans couronne. Il présente quelques rayures mineures (les plus profondes sont sur le fond du boîtier et visibles sur les photos). Il n’a pas été très poli, ce qui est une excellente nouvelle Le mouvement est un calibre 784-2. Je me souviens avoir acheté cette montre et l'avoir mise de côté, donc je ne l'ai jamais entretenue et je ne connais pas non plus son historique d'entretien :/elle fonctionne bien par contre. La dérivée journalière varie entre -6 et +22 secondes par jour. La montre montre une bonne amplitude. Je suis sûr qu'un service la rendra prête à être portée au quotidien (la montre est vendue non entretenue, telle quelle) Je dois mentionner que la lunette (d'origine) est usée à certains endroits et que je ne peux pas la faire pivoter. Je pense qu'un nettoyage devrait résoudre ce problème. D’ailleurs, vous pouvez voir que celui-ci est assez sale. Mais c'est juste ça… de la saleté La date change à 12 heures comme prévu La couronne est signée et c'est l'original de la montre Le bracelet NATO est neuf (non signé) et prêt à être utilisé C'est une référence qui n'est pourtant pas si rare que ça… la retrouver avec ce cadran et en set complet est une toute autre histoire. J’en ai eu plusieurs au fil des années et celui-ci était le seul que j’ai gardé pour les raisons évoquées ci-dessus. Misure maschili, con 34 mm in orizzontale (escludendo la corona) per 41 mm in verticale. 18 mm alle anse. Corona ORIGINALE, marcata , in condizioni pari al nuovo. FONDELLO in acciaio, a vite. Marcato e numerato allinterno.QUADRANTE perlato. Originale e perfetto. Secondi al centro. Data al 3. VETRO in plexy, originale. Ottime condizioni.Il MOVIMENTO è il TISSOT 782-1. Robusto carica manuale prodotto tra il 1965 ed il 1972. Non conosco la data della sua ultima revisione ma al momento carica e tiene il tempo.
