Aeromatic 1912 A1206 automatic watch for sale. Watch is a limited edition model, #91 of 100. This watch has a very unique dual time dial layout. The central handset tells one 12-hour time zone, while the 12-hour subdial at the 12 o’clock position can show a second time zone in sync with the main handset. The seconds function is also unique with a dual retrograde dial layout. This means that as the minute hand sweeps across its horizontal dial and reaches the end, it jumps back from the end point to the start. With this being a split retrograde function, the first dial counts to 30 seconds and snaps back to its zero position - then the second dial counts from 30 to 60 seconds, then snaps back to its zero position. And then the first dial continues the cycle. It’s truly mesmerizing to watch the minutes pass by. To change the second time zone, pull the crown to the time setting position. Then turn the crown one direction to move the main hands. To change the time simultaneously on both the 12 hour and main handset, turn the crown the other direction. Watch dimensions are: 42mm in diameter, 50mm lug to lug, 14mm thick, and 20mm lug width. Watch is in excellent condition. Glass is crystal clear front and back. This watch appears to be largly unworn, though there may be some slight hairline marks on the case from handling. Watch movement runs strong after a couple winds. Time sets smoothly.
