(All text, heading, information and photographs within this listing are the intellectual property and copyright of; riversidemaximus23.)Gentlemans high grade Swiss 15 jewel (3 adj) Vintage pocket watch with beautiful ivory porcelain dial in a highly polished 9 carat (professionally tested) rose gold filled (has a lovely soft pink hue and is known in the UK as rolled gold) original Dennison half hunter case.C ~1931.Looks to have been much loved and very well cared for - her condition certainly reflects this.(Please excuse all the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was extremely difficult to photograph).Full working order and is an excellent timekeeper (within +2/-2 minute per 24 hours) with plenty of room on the regulator (which is sat correctly in the central position) for any further fine tuning.Fully checked and serviced by my highly experienced watchmaker and is guaranteed to be 100% authentic - a timepiece to grace any collection!DIAL;-Impressive and distinctive, high gloss snowflake white porcelain dial in very near mint condition - absolutely no hairlines or nibbles and just two extremely tiny (micro) little pin prick indentations to outer edge at the one and 8 positions which look to be a fault in the original firing process (only visible under eyeglass, so small are not showing up in the photographs but mentioning for accuracy).Bold black heavily scrolled Arabic numbers (note the lovely little arrow tip to number 4) with black minute markers and larger black five minute markers to chapter ring. Recessed slightly textured sub dial with black Arabic numbers and black seconds chapters.Finely cut original blued steel correct double spade half hunter hands (so allowing for easy time check through the front cover) and original blued steel steel arrow tip seconds hand all in lovely straight, unmarked order.Original hunter glass and original outer domed glass (both not acrylic) in clear, bright condition with few tiny (micro again) surface scratches showing under eyeglass to outer only.CASE;-The highly polished (5cm diameter / 7cm from top of bow to base), 9 carat (professionally tested) rose gold filled half hunter case is heavy (has a pleasing solid feel in the hand and total watch weight is a hefty 107.3 grams), robust and in outstanding condition - absolutely no indentations, one very small area of wear to front of case stem only and just some light and fine little overall surface scratches commensurate with age and use in her 92 years service. All covers (both inside and out) still retain their original, high gloss, mirror finish.The front cover is hinged at the nine position, opens correctly to exactly 90 degrees when the winder is depressed, closing tightly with a very reassuring click (always depress the winder when closing to save wear to the gold and also the catch) and the large hinge is true and firm with absolutely no play.The back cover and dust cover are again hinged at the 9 position, open correctly to exactly 90 degrees, closing with a very reassuring click and both hinges are also true and firm with no play.Beautifully adorned to the front cover with bold jet black enamel Roman numerals which are in amazing condition with no chips or fading - as are the black enamel inner and outer chapter rings.Numbered to the inside of the front cover; 1053480.The back cover is clearly stamped to the inside in Art Deco style script; STAR DENNISON WATCH CASE Co LTD and is again numbered; 1053480.This number is correctly partially repeated to the inside back case cuvette; 3480.Stamped to the inside of the dust cover; ENGLISH MAKE THIS CASE GUARANTEED TO WEAR 10 YEARS and is numbered; 1053480 31 A - the 31 is the Dennison date numbering system; 1931 and the A is the first letter of the surname of the Goldsmith who pinned the case joints - unfortunately on this occasion I have been unable to identify him.MOVEMENT;-The stem wound and set high grade Swiss 15 ruby jewelled, 3/4 steel plate lever movement is in bright and clean order and as mentioned above has just been fully checked and serviced.Carries the most wonderful, slightly frosted geometric and swirl engine turning to the top plates which remains as crisp and clear today as the day they were made.Has a solid bi-arm balance with brass balance screws and two brass meantime screws (for precision timing), steel overcoil balance spring which is true, in the round and breathing well, large ruby jewels in sunken chaton settings, ruby end stone and pallet jewels, attractive swirl engine turning to the mainspring and ratchet barrel covers and original matching case screws.Clearly stamped on the top plates in arched script; 15 JEWELS SWISS MADE and is stamped around the mainspring barrel cover; *** 3 ADJUSTMENTS.Numbered to the bottom plate (under the dial); 646 355 and this number is also correctly partially repeated to the underside of the balance cock; 355.Balance action is absolutely tremendous in all positions (could not be any better) and is keeping excellent time with a sure, strong positive action. Runs like a train!Winds extremely smoothly and fully (do not be afraid to fully wind, over-winding is the greatest horological myth!) Hand set operates smoothly and correctly - the pull up/push down action is very firm and true. Einfach, aber genial.  Er schützte seine Idee durch Patente in allen wichtigen Märkten: Großbritannien, Frankreich, Deutschland, Amerika und der Schweiz. Er hatte einen Prototyp einer alten Taschenuhr und um diesen Traum zu kommerzialisieren, musste er in die Schweiz gehen. Hier ging er eine Partnerschaft mit dem Uhrwerkhersteller Anton Schild und dem Gehäusehersteller Walter Vogt von der Uhrenfirma Fortis ein. Im Jahr 1926 stellte Harwood auf der Basler Messe offiziell die Harwood-Automatikuhr vor. Leider war das Timing nicht auf seiner Seite und mit der Wirtschaftskrise von 1929 verlor er seinen Sponsor und die Chance auf bedeutendes Wachstum. Das Design der Hornlaschen ist ordentlich und geht in die Ösen der festen Stange über. Das Gehäuse ist für sein Alter in einem guten Zustand.  Das Zifferblatt ist original und hat eine selten zu sehende trübe Oberfläche, die unglaublich ins Auge fällt. In Kombination mit den stilisierten arabischen Ziffern ist dies ein sehr ansprechendes Exemplar. Die Minutenmarkierungen sind aus Gold und dreidimensional, was dem Zifferblatt noch mehr Struktur verleiht. Die Zeiger sind thermisch gebläut und glänzen im Licht.  Die Rückseite des Gehäuses lässt sich abknicken und gibt den Blick auf das geniale Automatikwerk frei. Es bewegt sich um 230 Grad, mit Stoßfängern auf beiden Seiten und einem festen Abschnitt, der seine 360-Grad-Bewegung stoppt. Dieser massive Abschnitt ist auch für den Eingriff der Zeigerstellung über ein Zahnraddesign verantwortlich. Die Trennung von Aufzug und Zeigerstellung war unglaublich einfallsreich. Es hat einige kleine Kratzer. Außerdem weist es eine kreisförmige Markierung auf, die von einem Handreiben in der Vergangenheit herrührt. Der trübe Abgang ist gut. Die Signierung ist originell, gut und klar.  Hände:  Die Zeiger sind original und im Kathedralenstil gehalten. Sie sind in sehr gutem Zustand und thermisch gebläut, mit gleichmäßigem Farbton und ohne Anzeichen von Korrosion oder Verbiegung.  Glas:  Der Acrylkristall ist ein moderner Ersatz und befindet sich in sehr gutem Zustand.  Fall:  Das Gehäuse aus 9-karätigem Roségold besteht aus drei Teilen, wobei das Mittelteil mit Drahtösen, einer einrastbaren Lünette und einem einrastbaren Gehäuseboden ausgestattet ist. Die Lünette dreht sich wie gewünscht, um die Uhrzeit einzustellen, und ist in sehr gutem Zustand mit geringen Gebrauchsspuren am Münzrand. Das Mittelteil ist in ordentlichem Zustand, die Drahtösen sind stabil und weisen keine Abnutzung auf. Die rechte Seite des Gehäuses weist eine Delle mit Grübchen auf. Die linke Seite weist einige Markierungen von Öffnungsversuchen auf.  Gehäuserückseite: Der Gehäuseboden besteht aus 9-karätigem Gold. Es ist in gutem Zustand und hat nur leichte Kratzer auf der Oberfläche. Es wurde nicht poliert. Es hat eine kleine Delle mit Grübchen. Es schließt fest.  Gurt:  Die Uhr wird mit einem neuen Echtlederarmband mit Metalllaschen für feste Bandanstöße geliefert.  Bewegung:  Das Uhrwerk ist ein A.Schild 8,75 Lignes mit 15 Steinen und zwei Regulierungen.
