Movimento automatico ar1146 con quarta sfera gmt. Il vetro presenta una crepa e andrebbe sostituito. L’orologio si presenta in ottime condizioni. La cassa è originale e non è mai stata lucidata con segni dovuti al normale utilizzo, considerata l’età. L’orologio funziona correttamente e sembra tenere il tempo ma non conosco la data dell’ultima revisione. L’orologio viene fornito con bracciale a chicchi di riso anni 60. Here for your consideration is a superb, 9ct gold, 1937, Enicar 130, open-faced pocket watch, with cream enamel dial and manual wind up movement, complete with red leather travelling case/box.Please take time look at all 12 photos to fully appreciate the exquisite quality of workmanship in this fabulous Enicar pocket watch. The mechanism is stamped Swiss made, 15 jewel, 3 adjustments. A truly stunning piece of Georgian VI workmanship. The inner case is stamped B.W.C, London Made, with 9/375 for 9ct gold and 25. It also has the Edinburgh assay castle hallmark with gothic date letter g for 1937. Considering this beautiful Enicar pocket watch is 81 years old its in excellent working condition. It does have some beautiful age-related 9ct gold patination, commensurate with 81 years of age, but nothing unusual. Its also just been cleaned, lubricated and serviced, so should give its purchaser years of trouble-free enjoyment.EnicarThe Racine family was well-known in watchmaking as early as the 1700s. They were French-speaking and lived in the Swiss Jura. There were many watchmaking businesses with a Racine family member involved, though only a few actually used the family name. One, Jules Racine Sr., had registered the family name as a watch brand.Therefore, when Ariste Racine and his wife Emma Blatt began their Manufacture dHorlogerie Artiste Racine in La Chaux-de-Fonds in 1913, they were unable to sell watches under their own name. Emma suggested reversing the family name, and the Enicar brand was registered on January 6, 1914.
