Vintage 1972 Heuer Autavia 11630T on rare and original plated” Heuer bracelet. Up for auction is an extremely well preserved example of the Heuer Autavia 11630T from 1972 - this model ist the successor of the famous white dialed Jo Siffert 1163T and the notorious white boy with the tachymeter bezel. This 11630T in full working order sports a spectacular silver brushed dial with vibrant bright orange accents and sunken black registers. The dial is in absolutely stunning condition and a real joy to look at. The sharp and heavy case shows a beautiful contrast between the polished sides and the sunburst top - the mineral crystal is surrounded by the original one-directional tachymeter bezel in excellent condition and with a lime insert on the triangle at 12. hands are all original with I nicely aged lume patina, pushers, crown etc ... all original. The watch comes on an original oyster-style Heuer plated solid stainless steel bracelet with Heuer signed clasp, which was developed for the heavier 11630 models, extremely hard to find these days. Watch keeps good time and runs great with date and chronograph functions working well - The watch was not serviced in recent years, although the previous owner told me that it was once serviced by Abel Court. it has not been tested for water-resistance.
