Up for your consideration is: A ca. 1975 gold-plated Omega F300 Hz electronic chronometer watch, ref. 198.020. Case: Gold-plated case with stainless steel caseback. Diameter: 40 mm (without crown) Case height: 44 mm (lug-to-lug) Thickness: 12.75 mm Movement: New ESA 9164 movement, unmarked Battery: Varta 344 Band: Unused, black leather band with gold-plated clasp. Detailed description: The watch is clean, but shows some wear and tear. The crown and caseback are original, and are marked Omega.The watch has not been polished or refinished. The watch is fitted with a new 9164 tuning fork movement and received a new battery. The glass (acrylic crystal), case, and caseback show scratches, the back shows signs of unprofessional opening. There is an omega symbol in the center of the crystal. The watch runs fine, keeps time, the date and day switch perfectly. The rear of the watch (especially the corners) has some of the gold worn off. The watch is priced commensurate with its condition and with being equipped with a brand new movement. Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE This is a beautiful vintage men’s tuning fork watch from Titus that was probably made in the 1970s. I read that the Titus Co. used Omega parts for their tuning fork watches. The crystal and case both have Omega logos on them. The 12 jewels, ESA 9162 caliber movement runs strong and keeps time. The date changes as it should, and the quick-set functions properly also. The cosmetics of the watch are pretty decent. The dial and hands look perfect. The case and crystal have a few nics that can be seen in the photos, but generally look good . The watch also has a nice 22mm band. I think that overall this is a great looking watch! The case is 36mm wide not counting the crown, and 40mm long including the lugs. See photos for more details.
