Up for sale is this extraordinary 1940s era vintage Olympic military style wrist watch. In excellent overall running and cosmetic condition! Looks to be all original except for a newer crystal. Chrome plated upper case measures 31 mm in diameter. Nice screw on stainless steel caseback has engraving of original owners name. Very cool black dial with interesting layout of indices. Love that color. 17 jewel Swiss movement runs strong and keeps time. I don’t know its service history. Although the dial states WATERPROOF there’s no guarantee. It has not been pressure tested. It’s fitted with a vintage 16 mm black leather strap that looks great on this watch. Let me know if you have any questions.
