The dial is encased in a silver coloured stainless steel watch housing. This is a vintage wristwatch dating to about 1943. This is handsome, clean, and in very good condition. This is an original, authentic US Military issued vintage military watch. It has been thoroughly checked and cleaned by a professional watchmaker. The movement has been serviced. This Bulova A-11 was a WW2 Era watch worn by pilots and aircrew from 1943 until the end of the War. The watch runs well and keeps time. The time sets as it should. The watch is hack set and pulling the crown to the outer position properly stops the watch. The case is plated metal and stainless steel and it is about 30mm wide not including the crown. It is about 35mm long to the tips of the lugs. The movement is a high quality USA made Bulova 10AKCSH and it has 16 jewels. The band is a new old stock genuine vintage US GI nylon strap. The total length of the watch is about 10 inches. This uses a 16 mm band which could easily be replaced if you prefer a different style or length. The crystal is new. The dial is nice, original, and is depicted accurately in the pictures. Please note that all pictures are taken on the macro setting.
